Tyrese Gibson Sad To See Fox Leave Transformers

Tyrese Gibson has revealed that he was sad to see Megan Fox leave the Transformers franchise.

Gibson is back in the hit franchise as he reprises the role of USAF Tech Sergeant Epps in the third instalment Dark of the Moon.

Fox was replaced by British model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley – who was making her big screen debut with the movie.

However Gibson admits it was difficult not having Fox on the project but wished her well.

Speaking to PopEater the actor said: “Having a franchise that she’s been a part of from the beginning, and not being able to have her on board is probably the most difficult.

“Sometimes things don’t work out, but I wish her well. In business, her career, her personal life.”

Transformers: Dark of the Moon has opened at #1 at the U.S. box office having taken over $161 million since it’s release last Wednesday.

The movie has so far taken $372 million worldwide – and has already made back it’s budget of $195 million.

It’s the second hit movie of the summer for Gibson as he reprised his role as Roman “Rome” Pearce in Fast Five – which also enjoyed huge box office success.

Transformers: Dark of the Moon is out now.
