According to Hollywood insider site, Popcrunch, word around town is Sam’s sultry sidekick, Mikaela Banes, played by Megan Fox, may not be seeing much action in the third edition of Michael Bay’s Transformers film trilogy. Apparently Fox ruffled some feathers recently and is being cited as the reason for the character’s demise. Fact or more insanity from this year’s critically panned yet highest grossing film?
Popcrunch.com’s no fan of Fox. Calling her “The bubbleheaded bombshell…” Citing her string of statements about working with director Michael Bay as being like a dictator and calling him a “Hitler.” An action that spawned a reaction from the Bay crew that was no more favorable of the actress. Calling her unprofessional and saying she only has a future as a porn star. The site then goes on to quote an unnamed source with the following statement:
“Michael’s pretty much discovered Megan and now he’s very quietly looking for her replacement. He hasn’t decided if he’s going to kill her off in the next movie, but he just wants to be prepared.”
Is it sour grapes or survival of the slimiest? Who can tell in Hollywood. I can only hope that Hasbro is as tired of this as I am. It’s bad enough our beloved franchise has been violated by writers and directors without a clue. Now we have to ride out a storm of mud-slinging and elementary games between the Transformers players.
