It wouldn’t be much of a surprise to find out that Transformers star Megan Fox and pop legend Michael Jackson were among the top 10 desktop searches of 2009. But it turns out that’s true for mobile devices as well.
Yahoo reports that both celebrities were in the top 10 list for mobile devices, along with Lady Gaga and Rihanna, according to MediaPost. In addition, top mobile searches included techie terms like mobile games, mail, ringtones, movies, and the iPhone.
PC searches were a little more broad, according to the report, and also included Britney Speakers, the NFL, Twilight, American Idol, and NASCAR. Fully one-fourth of all U.S. cell subscribers–77 million–used a mobile device to hit the Web.
