As star-is-born moments go, Megan Fox’s was a doozy. About 25 minutes into 2007′s Transformers, the curvy sex bomb, dressed in a denim miniskirt and a cropped tank top revealing miles of midriff, leaned over the engine of Shia LaBeouf’s car. Folks might have walked in expecting to see the Autobots and Decepticons, but they walked out talking about…that girl. Now the 23-year-old Tennessee native is reprising her role as brassy Mikaela Banes in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (due June 24), and has two more films on the way. Off screen, she’s graced numerous magazine covers in come-hither poses, unleashing the kinds of provocative quotes that give publicists cardiac infarctions. Not that that’s shutting her up. When we met up with Fox poolside in Los Angeles last week, she greeted us in a bikini top under a white T-shirt, snug sweatpants, and dark aviator sunglasses.

ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: Transformers turned you into an overnight star. Looking back, how do you feel about the movie?
MEGAN FOX: I’m terrible in it. It’s my first real movie and it’s not honest and not realistic. The movie wasn’t bad, I just wasn’t proud about what I did.

What percentage of your range have people seen so far?

Megan Fox is still adjusting to all of the attention she’s been receiving sinceTransformers. Here’s what she opened up to Entertainment Tonight about:On her newfound fame: “I definitely feel ill-prepared. I mean, I don’t know if anyone ever sits back and goes, ‘Now is the moment that I think I should be a famous celebrity.’ I know I’m struggling with trying to figure out how to how to live in it — but I definitely feel it’s premature. I mean, I was in one movie that people have seen.”

On keeping herself grounded: “I see some people who have to deal with it on an everyday basis — I am not a Jennifer Aniston or a Britney Spears or even a Lindsay Lohan, you know? My pictures don’t sell for that kind of money. But [of] the small level that I do deal with it, it is hard and there have been times [when] people don’t want to hang out with me because they don’t want to end up on the Internet. I sometimes just turn around and go back home and don’t do anything and have to have someone go do my grocery shopping.”

On establishing herself in Hollywood: “I need to behave in a way and handle myself in a way that will cause people to take me seriously. You can be sexy and be intelligent and be taken seriously, or you can be sexy and you can be out at clubs every night and not be [taken seriously]. I haven’t gone completely insane — but it might happen soon.”

Megan Fox stopped to chat to take40.com as she fought her way down the red carpet at the world premiere of ‘Transformers – Revenge Of The Fallen.

take40.com asked her whether this was the craziest event she’d been a part of and she replied: “No I think as crazy as it gets is when Robert Pattinson goes anywhere, that’s as crazy as it gets. He’s a Beatle, he’s all the Beatles, he’s the Backstreet Boys band in a person.”

When take40.com put it to her that she might have made Robert cry with her recent quote about him being too young for her Megan confessed “No I know him and he laughs about it, it was a joke.”

For obvious reasons, people are excited about the upcoming film adaptation of “Jonah Hex.” And for even more obvious reasons, men are excited to see Megan Fox’s performance in the film.

Now, the stunner is finally talking about her deadly, beautiful and mysterious femme fatale.

“That movie is gonna be amazing,” explained the “Transformers” star. “It’s a post-civil war, apocalyptic type Western. The director Jimmy [Hayward] is a lunatic, and he might be a genius. From some of the things I’ve seen him shoot, it’s a badass movie.”

One of the big questions that have emerged since Fox’s on-set photos have emerged is a simple one: What character is she playing? And the answer is that it’s someone even the most die-hard fan of the comic series probably won’t remember.

“They’ve changed her name a couple of times — it’s Leila now,” Fox explained. “She is a prostitute. She’s a good ol’ working girl, and she’s a love-interest to Jonah… of sorts. I mean, it’s by no means a classic type of relationship.”

“She wasn’t really featured in the comics,” Fox said of her character. “Her name was initially Liala, and now they changed it — or it was Layla, and now they changed it to Leila. … All the women in the movie are prostitutes. … [I’m] sort of a tough, no-nonsense prostitute. Like, she’ll shoot you in the head if she has to. And she does!”

Asked if she means that literally, Fox revealed that she definitely gets to wield a handgun in the flick. “Not in the head,” she grinned. “[But I get to shoot someone] somewhere.”

Producer talks with IGN about the casting rumor.

Two weeks after she slammed Wonder Woman and reportedly passed on playing Lara Croft comes a rumor about another genre film that Transformers starlet Megan Fox is reportedly under consideration to star in.

Cinefools claims to have heard from an industry source that Fox is being eyed to play the title role of Buffy Summers in the recently announced big-screen relaunch of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. The new movie will not involve Joss Whedon or be tied in anyway to either the 1992 film or the TV series starring Sarah Michelle Gellar that followed.

We recommended Fox, along with several other young hotties, to play the vampire slayer in our recent Buffy Casting Couch column.

IGN contacted Buffy producer Roy Lee about the rumor, who said, “The rumors of Megan Fox being involved with Buffy are just rumors. As with any film project with a female lead under the age of 30, Megan is the actress that most studios want so it is no surprise her name is mentioned. While I think she would be great for our project, we are still in the early stages of developing the script.”

Michael Papajohn is the envy of all his friends having worked alongside screen stunner Megan Fox in both the “Transformers” flicks, but it seems the experience of playing her father also had quite the tortuous side.

“I can honestly tell you she’s beautiful, but my buddies are still calling me and emailing me going, ‘Hey, how hot is she?’ and the verdict is I stayed in character the whole time,” Papajohn told Tarts last week at the Palm Pre launch event at Hollywood’s Raleigh Studios. “So I just looked at her from a father’s point of view and I just kept saying in my mind, ‘Oh Megan, I wish you’d put more clothes on’. She’s got far more depth than director Michael Bay’s computer-generated Autobots and Decepticons of course, but she also happens to be extremely easy to look at.
