She’s the face of Giorgio Armani’s beauty, fragrance and skincare campaigns, but Megan Fox didn’t always feel beautiful.
“I was never the pretty girl,” the actress tells the March issue of MIAMI Magazine. Describing her teenage self as “abrasive” and “obnoxious,” Fox, 25, says she felt like a “loner” growing up. Plus, her interests have never been mainstream.
“I would love to go on a dig!” Fox says, explaining her fascination with ancient civilizations — and potential government cover-ups. “Come on! You don’t think everything that’s learned is released to the public, do you?”
The actress, married to Beverly Hills, 90210 star Brian Austin Green, next appears in the ensemble comedy Friends With Kids (opposite Kristen Wiig, Jon Hamm, Maya Rudolph, Chris O’Dowd, Jennifer Westfeldt, Adam Scott and Ed Burns).
“I’d rather be with good people in a movie than the other way around,” Fox tells MIAMI. “Most of the cast knew each other very well already — Kristen and Maya are BFFs; it was such a nice, welcoming, supporting environment.”
Adds Fox: “I always try to choose something different than what I’ve done before.”
