Istanbul / NationalTurk – Megan Fox arrived in Istanbul for a commercial for Doritos chips and gave her first interview at a Turkish morning show to Saba Tümer, the host of the show.

SABA TÜMER: Hi Megan, how are you? It’s your first time in Turkey, you just arrived yesterday? What did you know about Turkey prior to your visit? What did you expected and what have you seen so far here?

MEGAN FOX: I knew a few things about Turkey. Like you have the most ancient temple on earth..and it is not far from where we are right now.

SABA TÜMER: And you made this research before or after the offer for the ad was made ?

MEGAN FOX: I knew this already, because i’v watched a show called ”Ancient Alliens”. It sounds silly but it is about ancient temples and pyramides. I watched the special episode about this temple, i can’t pronounce it correctly right now but it is a ‘Göbekli Tepe’.

SABA TÜMER: So you are interested in archeology and history, do you read a lot ?

MEGAN FOX: No, i really don’t take a book and read. I read from I-book from my I-pad.

SABA: How did you find Istanbul? Did you go shopping? Have you tried traditional Turkish cuisine yet ?

MEGAN FOX:: No, not yet. Haven’t found the chance yet. But i will do it today. I want to visit The Grand Bazaar and the Mosques. I want to eat Turkish food as soon as possible. This is not like what i did expect here. I thought Istanbul was a town. But it is a metropolis, with big urbanization and industry. so many buildings everywhere, i didn’t expect this.

SABA: You are here for business, would you like to return here as a tourist next time ?

MEGAN FOX: Yeah, very much, i’d bring my husband too, i’d like to visit everywhere here with him.

SABA: Speaking of your husband, how did he proposed?

MEGAN FOX: He proposed way back before we got married, it was nothing big or romantic.SABA: You got married at a beach, as a woman i can’t stop thinking, if you go and get married at beach then the proposal shoul have been somewhat very unique, that why i’m asking.

MEGAN FOX: I was 19 when he proposed, just entered 20. I came from work and was very tired. He was sitting on the couch and bought a ring for me. He asked if i will marry him. Nothing sumptuous really.

SABA: So what about your private life ? you are a very popular woman, global celebrity and you wish to protect your private life as well? How do you hold the balance between these two? I know, that paparazzis are after you since the moment you get out of the plane?

MEGAN FOX: Very difficult situations such as this one he heard the news recently, that i have an doublure however, i had a friend close to me, whereas me looked like to me. Many çıkmıyorum out. Paparazilerden can not go places because of the trend. We spend time at home alone with my husband.

SABA: So you always wanted be a very famous actress as a kid?

MEGAN FOX: Yes, I thought a lot of people thought that this industry
but I did it. I did not know why I thought this kid is still in the
I do not know.

SABA: Everyone can be actor, but not everyone can be star. Why do you think you became a star ?

MEGAN FOX: I think that God is relevant. It is faith completely.

SABA: Your mother did not want you to be an actress, but you must have a strong will since
 you’ve continued on that road.

MEGAN FOX: I was worried at first because we used to live in a very small space. Things like that
would not have happen there. But it was not discouraging. Later there was a lot of support. Obstinately
I went and achieved.

SABA: Are they proud of you right now?

MEGAN FOX: Yes, very much

SABA: What did you do with the first money tou earned?

MEGAN FOX: I put it in the bank. We have never been a big spender. I do not like to spend for myself, i love spending for the persons i love and care I began to spend money after i met Bryan.
I bought him cars and motorcycles. He hated that i d buy him expensive gifts but I loved it.

SABA: Would you like to be an actress again in a second life?

MEGAN FOX: No, I would not be.

SABA: Why?

MEGAN FOX: I’d go back to school I’d be an archaeologist.

SABA: Who did you admire as a child

MEGAN FOX: Since I was little i have been a Judy Garland fan. Esther Williams, he is a
singer, swimmer and actress. The only actress I can recall a very long time ago
I v always sat back and enjoyed watching her.

SABA: Celebrities like  doing tattoos as much as you do. How many tattoos you got?

MEGAN FOX: I have 8  ..

SABA: Just see one now..

MEGAN FOX: Yes, but i will have it removed.

SABA: Why?

MEGAN FOX: It is a Marlyn Monroe tatoo. I’ve done it at 18, I do not want it anymore

SABA: I guess you do not want it because she had a bad life?

MEGAN: Most def.

SABA: You are a very thin woman, do you eat anything?

MEGAN FOX: I’ll eat. My mother is also a petite woman. For different characters i’v done many different diets.

SABA: I heard you’ve done a diet and lost your eyebrows and eyelashes, correct?

MEGAN FOX: No, but I have lost so much weight that my hair and fingernails
became  unhealthy. Ostrejene is what the female body needs.

SABA: How old were you then?

MEGAN FOX: That was a few years ago. I ‘ve done it for health, but it was too much.

SABA: Now what are you doing?

MEGAN FOX: I eat 5 meals a day in small portions. I eat meat
I’m not a vegetarian. My favorite dish is…hmm  I really like Italian ravioli .

SABA: One day you eat, the next day you do not..as far as I understand.

MEGAN FOX: No, I am eating all the time. Its genetic.

SABA: How much do you weigh?

MEGAN FOX: 50-60 pounds

Fox has announced her excitement for her visit to Turkey and Istanbul, the sexy artist said, that she wanted discover what Istanbul has to offer her and to experience something brand new there. She also mentioned her desire to touch the remains of Noah’s Ark and visit the places mentioned in the Bible.

Although the Mean Girls star confirmed she is still up for the role in the buzz-worthy biopic to E! News Sunday night at the Weinstein Company Golden Globes after party, we’ve learned Lohan has some competition by way of Megan Fox.

“I’ve been talking to Lindsay Lohan directly, and with her reps, andhave been in conversations with other actresses, including Megan Fox,” Larry Thompson, the executive producer of Lifetime’s Liz and Dick, told E! News exclusively.

Thompson declined to elaborate further on specifics of the negotiations, but added that being in talks with more than one actress is not meant as an affront to the talent involved, but rather is simply de rigueur for projects of this nature.

“It’s a very serious selection,” Thompson continued. “It’s like casting for Hollywood royalty.”

And speaking of serious, a source tells E! News that while Lohan is still one of the frontrunners for the role, her probation status is “a complication.”

Lohan, who is on probation until the end of March, is due back in court Tuesday morning to face the judge in a probation status update hearing.

So, when will we know which star nabbed the role?

Rather soon, since the filmmaker plans to start shooting the movie in Canada as soon as this spring.

In a new interview with America’s Entertainment Weekly magazine, the director was asked about Bay telling GQ that when Megan Fox compared him to Hitler in an interview, Spielberg said that he should fire her from the Transformers movie franchise.

“That’s not true,” Spielberg said, shaking his head. “That didn’t happen.”

Spielberg then commented on Bay’s potential return to the Transformers franchise.

“How did I know someone’s going to ask me this question today?” he said.

“We’re talking about it, but there’s nothing right now. I’m going to do a tiny movie first, then we’ll talk about it, if I potentially do it.”

“Do I know how to write letters with a pen and paper?” Fox asked. “I do. I actually took calligraphy class in high school and have kind of incredible handwriting.”

Fox collects a number of similarly idiosyncratic interests that align her more with an eccentric old soul than a 25-year-old sex symbol — the list also includes astrology, “Lord of the Rings” trivia, Chinese herbs (she takes them for anxiety), and a preference for marriage over dating (she wed actor Brian Austin Green in 2010), all of which came up in seven minutes of conversation with The Huffington Post and other media during the intermission for “24 Hour Plays,” Fox’s Broadway debut.

Fox is best known for her uneven success in the “Transformers” movie franchise and her frequent gracing of the sexiest-women lists in men’s magazines. Most recently, she channeled Elizabeth Taylor in an ad for Armani cosmetics. Slim but athletic, she was dressed down in jeans, a gray sweater and slouchy boots for her Broadway debut.

Calling “24 Hour Plays” her debut, however, is almost a misnomer. As a one-night-only benefit show, it’s more of a one-off than the launch of a stage career. 

“I don’t have the stomach for [the stage]. It takes a very brave, courageous person, and I’m too neurotic,” Fox said. “I wouldn’t survive an entire run of a play.”

But she survived the full 24 hours Monday night at the American Airlines Theater. Unlike some of her fellow actors, who used Absolut vodka to calm their nerves, Fox (who doesn’t drink) stuck to her Chinese herbs. Why was a group of established actors — including Jesse Eisenberg, David Cross, Rosie Perez and Michael K. Williams — so terrified? Consider the show’s premise.

The “24 Hour Plays” — a show sponsored by Montblanc to benefit the Urban Arts Partnership – teams up writers, actors and directors for 24 hours, during which time they have to create six plays, to be performed on Broadway the following night. Twenty-four hours to write, direct, memorize lines and act, all for an audience hoping to see you break character. That is, after all, part of the voyeuristic fun of it — the chance to see big-name Hollywood actors at their most vulnerable.

Fox’s play, “The Maid,” is a surrealist comedy featuring Sarah Silverman and Fox as rabbits, Paul Bettany as a high-maintenance millionaire, Jack McBrayer essentially reprising his role on “30 Rock” (this time as a maid) and Tracy Morgan in a cameo as Tracy Morgan.

Before the show, actors had a chance to express their stage strengths to the writers, and Fox voiced an interest in comedy. “I definitely, for live theater, would prefer doing comedy as opposed to something heavy and dramatic, because I just don’t have the nerves to pull something like that off,” Fox said.

The actors were required to bring a prop with them to the theater, which the writers could integrate into the script. Fox wanted to bring Sting, Frodo’s sword from “Lord of the Rings,” but foresaw trouble at LAX and settled on a Bop It. Her prop didn’t end up in the play, but it did display her sense of humor, which she cites as one of her stronger points: “Everybody that knows me thinks I’m funny.”

Even in the ideal comedic situation, however, Fox’s nerves are more on edge on stage than on a film set. “If you mess up, you sort of mess up everyone else’s experience as well, and you can’t reset,” she said. “It’s frightening.”

What did help was knowing that putting on a play in 24 hours made everyone involved uneasy.

“Everyone is so completely terrified, even the people who have done it several times,” Fox said. “But I was really impressed with how very relaxed Sarah was, and obviously I don’t think Tracy’s ever been nervous in his life.”

As for Fox, her most relaxed moments in life come “when [she's] not PMSing or ovulating — those two weeks in between.”

Her most unrelaxed?

“I hate doing the red carpets,” she said. “It’s all about what you’re wearing and how you look, and I don’t know anyone who’s super comfortable and confident in doing that. I mean I do know a few people, but it’s not the norm.”

Shortly after Monday night’s carpet — which, counterintuitively, took place following the show — Fox disappeared, while some other actors lingered for the after party. Eisenberg, Perez, Diane Neal and Gabourey Sidibe were seen on the dance floor at B.B. King Blues Club and Grill in Times Square, where the bar served potato chips, the DJ spun tunes from Stevie Wonder (“Sir Duke”) to Jay-Z (“I Just Wanna Love U (Give It 2 Me)”), and overwrought actors could finally breathe easy.

The annual event is a challenge for writers, directors and actors, who literally have 24 hours to write, produce and perform a play on Broadway. According to a press release, proceeds will benefit the Urban Arts Partnership, an organization that promotes arts-integrated education programs in underprivileged communities.

On Nov. 13 at 10 p.m., the full group of participants will begin the process of creating their plays, which will be performed on stage at the American Airlines Theater in New York at 8 p.m. the following day. According to the official website, the plays typically run about eight to twelve minutes each, with three to four actors or actresses in each performance. Typically, about six plays are featured.

Last year’s participants included Gloria Estefan, Elizabeth Banks, Nia Vardalos, Claire Danes, Sarah Silverman Elijah Wood, America Ferrera, Christopher Meloni and Julia Stiles, according to Playbill.

The former Transformers star has had the image of Marilyn on her right forearm lasered off as part of a change of image. But she hasn’t gone off body art for good.

“Megan still has a number of tattoos which she is keeping and she has several ideas for more,” a source said.

“Marilyn was a mistake that she’s putting right but she is by no means changing her love of expressing herself through body art.”

Megan recently revealed she’s planning to catch up on summer movies — including Transformers 3.

The movie beauty, 25, was axed from the latest robot spectacular and replaced by Rosie Huntington Whitely but she still counts herself as a fan of the franchise.

“I haven’t seen it yet but I want to,” says Megan.

“It’s not like I didn’t want to see it because I did. The trailer looked awesome but I didn’t want to go to a crowded theater and watch it because of how that may have looked.

“I have no problem with Transformers or Shia (LaBeouf). He’s a great guy and I still count him as a friend.”

In a recent interview, Megan explained her aversion to social media and why she’s elected not to have a Twitter account.

“I feel like it has a purpose because there are fans around the world that want to have some sort of interaction with you. But I feel like it is important to still keep some space and some distance. I honestly don’t think that I am cool enough or important enough that anyone would care about what I am doing at all hours of the day, like, ‘I just had a latte from Starbucks and now I am going to Barneys. Love me some shoes!’ Who cares?”

The former Transformers star is still in the process of having her Marilyn Monroe body art removed but already she has two other tattoos in her sights.

“Megan is making some big decisions,” says a friend of the 25-year-old actress.

“Marilyn is almost gone and she has identified two other tattoos to go. She doesn’t regret having her tattoos but having grown up a lot in the last few months, she no longer identifies with certain things that inspired her when she was a teenager.”

Fox recently revealed how she is a massive gamer and likes nothing better than to blow away her fellow cyber warriors whenever she gets the chance.

“I have Halo: Reach. I have a complete addiction to that game. It is sick,” she said.

“I play online mostly and (other gamers) have no idea. They make fun of my gamer tag too because it is funny. They are all a bunch of guys and it is clear that I am a girl so they make fun of my name, and they have no idea they are making fun of me.”
