He’s been experiencing a massive career comeback ever since his role in “The Wrestler,” and Mickey Rourke recently came to the defense of his “Passion Play” costar Megan Fox.

Quashing the various tabloid rumors about the “Transformers” babe, Rourke explained, “She doesn’t drink or do drugs. People say bad stuff about her and how she can’t act but they only say that because she’s beautiful.”

Continuing his praise, Mickey added, “She’s the most talented actress I’ve worked with. When she cries in a scene, I get emotional.”

“Passion Play” looked to have quite the roster of stars, with Bill Murray, Rhys Ifans, and Kelly Lynch all on board.
